All Star activities as they pertain to the Knicks

Things are pretty quiet in Knicks land as one would imagine during this All-Star Break. Here's just a quick update of their participation in the All-Star festivites:

 - Landry Fields and Jeremy Lin both played in the Rising Stars game as members of Team Shaq. Lin played just under 9 minutes and had only 2 points and 1 assist. Fields, however, played 18 minutes and had 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. It's probably pretty good that Lin hardly played so he could rest those weary legs. And it's cool that Landry represented the Knicks with a good performance.

 - The Knicks had a team in the Shooting Stars contest with Fields, Allan Houston, and a nice lady from the New York Liberty whose name I'm too lazy to look up. And they won! Yo, the Knicks should totally sign Allan Houston to a contract because that man's jumper is still wet!

 - Carmelo Anthony is in the starting lineup for the East All-Star team, so that's cool!

Everyone enjoy the weekend!
