Jared Jeffries Will Miss More Time

During the second half of last night's game, while attempting a layup Jared Jeffries was blocked and subsequently knocked to the ground pretty hard. The Knicks called a timeout and he hobbled over and went straight back into the locker room. It was called a "sore knee" last night, which is something he's been dealing with all season. Al Iannazzone gives us an update:
Jeffries will have tests on his knee when the Knicks return home from Toronto. He's out tomorrow and doubtful for Sat. vs. DET.
After Saturday the Knicks don't play until Monday against Milwaukee and then Wednesday against Orlando. To be cautious, it might be better for Jeffries to miss the next three games and get a week's worth of rest. The way he limped off the court last night, it didn't look good. Also, this news from Landry Fields isn't too brightening either.
When asked how Jarred's knee is doing, his response, "prayers." #sendthemup
I imagine that Josh Harrellson will receive some playing time in Jared's spot, but we don't exactly know how Mike Woodson fields about rookies or Jorts or in particular or jorts in general, so that's still to be determined. Losing Jeffries for an extended period of time would hurt though, because as Tommy Beer mentions, the Knicks are pretty good when he plays.
