Jeremy Lin will sit tonight against the Atlanta Hawks

Jeremy Lin, who missed the past two games with a sore knee, will also not play tonight when the Knicks visit the Atlanta Hawks. From Al Iannazzone:
No Jeremy Lin again tonite.
It's still unclear what exactly is wrong with Jeremy Lin's knee; all we've heard is that it's "sore". Iannazzone also tweeted some more news nuggets regarding Jeremy Lin (and Amar'e Stoudemire), one of which is concerning, the other slightly more reassuring:
Woodson: ''i have no idea when [Lin and Stoudemire] are going to return; if they're going to return. I just don't know.''
The Knicks just said Lin is shooting for next week against the Indiana and Orlando, depending on how he feels.
So, first, the Wooded one fools us into an apocalyptic nightmare (*if* Jeremy returns?!), but then another authority with the Knicks (that second tweet is a bit uninformative) reassures us that Jeremy's knee hasn't been taken hostage by a rabid, hostile faction of wolverines and Komodo dragons.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what becomes of the situation, but it seems the Knicks just really want Lin to be 100% going into the final push and then hopefully the playoffs. Can't deny though that the lack of details are a bit sketchy. Perhaps the Knicks coaching staff are indeed the rabid, hostile faction of wolverines and Komodo dragons! F!R3 WOOD$ON!!!!!
