Here's What They're Saying

G'day, Bo Diddlies! Today is June 18 and that means in twelve days the NBA Draft will take place, and in thirteen days free agency begins. So, while the offseason has been fairly quiet, things are starting to heat up. With that said, take the jump for some links and things and stuff.

 - First, this needs to be addressed: the elephant in the room.

 - Second, Phil Jackson apparently wasn't interested in taking the Knicks' head coaching job. In the process he called them "clumsy" and said Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire don't fit well together. I think Phil was being partly bitter and partly honest. And I'm partly disappointed, partly, like, if he didn't want the job, then oh well.

 - The Knicks are working out some folks tomorrow. This is them.

 - Taylor Armosino of Meloship of the Ring believes the Knicks should absolutely not sign Derek Fisher this offseason.

 - Iman Shumpert is re-shumping rehabbing his knee and letting us know the progress.

 - Carmelo Anthony is going to be in a Chinese film, obviously.

That's all for today, folks. Check back soon for more updates as some critical dates draw nearer.
